Im getting ready to by my wife another car, Im going to pay for it with my Discover card and then pay off the bill when it comes, That should tick them off for sure! I love interest, when they pay me! <br /><br />Most of us get smarter as we get older and see how badly we have been Scr*wed over the years.<br /><br />By new, Nope, not me!

I am in the same class with CN spots, rodbolt and KRS. With a little mechanical ability and good maintenance, a good used vehicle is the way to go.........

Yeah, I was aware, but it was only 2 years old when I got it and still under warranty today. I did notice damage/rust/corrosion already on the hubs, and it was a bear to get the wheels off. I had to hit them with a flippin' rubber mallet with all of the lugs off Definitely don't see that here.<br /><br />I am learning that New Jersey is like the center of the used car Universe . . .

Well I have only owned two vehicles so far......didnt take a loan out on either of them, which helps because insurance for my age bracket is ridiculous.

Dave, $600 per month is a loan for about $30,000 or 1/2 a Hummer. <br /><br />Car, Suv and boat total $885 per month. About 2 years left to be paid off.

I bought a new truck cause I wanted a 4 door small truck and there were no used ones yet.<br /><br />I will buy a new mini-van for the wife (and kids)cause I dont want to have to worry about it breaking down and it has the latest saftey features.<br /><br />Actually if you are rich, you are smarter to take advantage of the low interest loans and then invest the cash. You can make money that way. Wish I was rich. <br /><br />Ken

I think things like side impact air curtains make a new or newer car well worth thinking about.<br /><br />I am happy with a base silverado work truck not a lot of money brand new 15000 with the rebates<br /><br /> But feel a lot better with the wife haveing ALL the saftey things like that with all the nuts driveing around here<br /><br /><br />tommays

My wifes Expi we pay $500 but the payment is $451. My car is a Hyndai and its payment is $230 something, I pay $300 every month, it'll be paid off early in 5 months. My pride and joy is a 89 F250 turned F350 that Crusty the clown would be embarrassed to drive. Its dooky brown with primer showing and 5 different colors of rust. Its got more lumps than Rosanne Barr and Oprah combined. I traded a half ton chevy and $1000 for it. My favorite vehicle above all others since no one wants to ride in it. I pay $277 a month for the tractor, got a long ways to go as just made payment #7 on it.

Only if your making the payments. I'm so broke I can't even pay attention. Come to think of it you'll have to use it for me too. I got just enough spare time to take it out about twice a year, hope it doesn't rain during those two times.
