How much does a 1980 40HP MERC weigh?

I'm trying to find out how much a 1980 40HP Mercury weighs. I don't have any way to weigh it myself. Anybody have any ideas or know where I might find out? Thanks

A new 2 stroke 40 weighs 93kg.(205lbs)<br /> http://www.mercurymarine.com/mercury_40_classic <br /><br />1980 would be about 210-220 lbs.. My best guess

It does feel like it's about that heavy. Any idea if the weight has gone up or down over the years. I'm trying to estimate a shipping amount. Thanks for the help

You mean you're standing there holding it ??? <br />I would say not much difference.. More gadgets on new ones but more plastic also.
