I have 2 sets of keys. One is in the boat all the time, either in the ignition or in the 'glove' compartment. The other set of keys is
together with my pickup key. The thing is you need the pickup key to drive the pickup and haul the boat so it is always available
should you forget or loose the one from the boat. And you pay more attention to the set of pickup key because you would need it to drive the pickup or else you are SOL.
