how do u wire a saftey cut out switch?

i have a 60h/p johnson super seahorse model#vxL105 the saftey cutout switch is not hooked up someone has cut the wires for some reason. what is it supposed to be ran to and also can u give me some idea of the year? i thought it to be a 1959 but not shure. thanks

mattd20,Look at that model number again and see if it doesn't read VXH-something .The number you supplied doesn't come up on my search.

im pretty shure it said model#vxL1o5 but it might be vx405.its the old v4 with the dis that turns with the throttle and also i still can not figure out how to set timing belt the right way.i got it pretty close it starts and runs great until i get to high rpms then misses pretty bad.could this be the timing or something else?

Not totally sure either, but if it reads VX-10 or VXL-10 it is a 1964 Model.
