how do i remove the end cap assembly upper

i have a mercury 35 hp outboard motor and im wondering if anyone knows how to remove the end cap assembly ,upper its a 1988 motor im wondering if i can use a puller to get it off or if its pressed on

you can use a puller just be careful not to damage the crankshaft, did you change the bottom seals?

I highly suggest you loosen the upper crankcase and flange bolts as this can gauld the aluminum surfaces in not remove evenly....
