How do I remove lower unit - 1993 Johnson 20hp

Hi,

I've undone the bolts from this lower unit - it drops a little, but won't come all the way out. What else do I have to do to get this lower unit off?

Follow these steps.------Remove water intake screens.------Scrape paint from upper shift rod if needed.----Undo coupling.-----Now slide the upper nut up the shift rod.-------Remove split / black plastic keeper.
