$300.00 !!!!!! WOW. I didn't think you can get a replacement jug for that engine for that much....let alone the whole aircraft!! You are my new hero Keep the blue side up! (in the Stearman...not the boat )

I'll post a few photos soon,despite the fact that this IS a boat board. Haven't really found one for aircraft yet,but then again,ain't been lookin'.<br />When you see the shape this thing's in, you'll understand the price.I brought the whole plane home in six trips with my truck and a flatbed trailer.Took me four months.It was a cropduster on a farm west of Brunswick,Ga.Before that,well,I think you know what it's job was.Cool little Navy trainer.It was also ditched.TWICE.And the poor old guy I bought it from was the one that did it both times.I find it strangely amusing that he actually still lives. I used to drive by this gentlemans' farm and see it sitting behind an outbuilding.It took me 8 years to get up the guts to approach him about it.I really think he would have paid me just to haul it off.It's got a LOT of history, and that's why I had to have it,but geez, is my wife pissed...

Keep the Father In Law healthy and happy for the airplane project ahead. Post pics of the Traveler on the Restoration board already! While you have the flywheel off check the "wobble" on the timing advance plate.
