How do I get this ?! Fuel connector off?

This is a Honda 50, circa 2002 I believe. I can't figure out this connector. I've tried the usual way - moving the lever towards the hose. Doesn't budge. Thanks!

Just looking at the pic, it might be a jury-rigged fuel hookup. I believe someone just ran a fuel hose the the fuel inlet and did not use a quick connect fuel hookup at all. Look up Honda outboard fuel connectors and see ...I think that tab is where a fuel connector attaches...just going by pics I looked up...

Look under the cowl. Looks like the hose goes thru the grommet
