Fiberglass meet tree top, tree top won.

It's hard to tell in the pic, the fiberglass had chipped off and exposed the wood (the bright portion) but not all the way to bare wood. There's a thin clear layer covering the wood. It's about the size of a nickel. The scratches are result of the tree/glass meet n greet and the chalky looking stuff is just oxidation.

So how do I go about patching this hole up? Thanks.

Need more info. Location on boat? Depth of gouge? What you want to do? Gel Coat? Resin? Epoxy?

I'm just sayin...:D

It's about in the middle of the boat and is submerged when boat is in the water. On the third strake nearest to the running pad. It's about maybe 1/16" deep, I can't really tell. I want to fill it with something that won't come off and to prevent any further damage.
