how do I connect throttle cable to hot foot pro

I am trying to install a hot foot pro to my 05 Nitro 882. Ordered the longer throttle cable but I dont understand how to attatch to the hot foot. I can see where it bolts to the thing but it seems to me that something should be securing the cable to the fixed portion of the hotfoot so when i press the pedal only the internal cable slides unstead of the sheath and all.

Disregard that question. Bass Pro sent me a Gen II cable to install the hot foot and I just read that the Gen II cable is not compatible. Now I have to find which cable to get.
