Found the site doing a search for old outboard info.Checked it out, joined and the help i've gotten off here has saved me money,time ,and alot of headaches. Great site and great people.

same as all the others, did a search looking for help, first forum I stubled uppon was SHT, spent 2 DAYS reading every single post..... and that was 3 years ago, bought and sold 2 boats since then and I'm still here, boat-less.

I came looking for info about boat stuff, I think it came up on a search engine. I originally participated in Fiberglassics.com because I had a 60s boat, but a snob-fest started to develope. It seemed that having an old boat wasn't enough, you had to have a certain type or you weren't part of the cool kids. I didn't care either way, I found this site to be more welcoming and informative. I did not participate in the then known as Nothing To Do With Boats. I stayed with the Project Boats forum, but then ended up falling down the stairs into the cellar one day, and have been down here ever since...

You have a mixture of terminology. Medicine is for Physical ailments. What you need is your Medication. Just ask Standeasy Nurse, one more for Shock Therapy.

I bought this old boat to fix up. Had a soft floor in it so took a peak underneath found a lot of mulch so got on goggle and here I am.Everytime I try to get away I get dragged back in. <br /><br /> I came here looking for advice and help on repowering. I found iboats threw another boating site, continuouswave.com(speaking of snobfests. . .), a forum for Boston whalers. I met JB threw the CW forums and heard he was a mod at some "other" forum, and thats how I ended up checking iboats out.

Stumbled upon Iboats while looking for technical advice for restoring my boat. I spent my first good chunk of time on Iboats reading the Project Boats forum.<br />Iboats and "Runabout Renovation" (which was recommended on Iboats) gave me the knowledge and confidence to complete my restoration.
