I recently purchased a 14 ft skiff with a 25hp long shaft tiller Merc. I have looked all over and cannot find a sticker with the serial # or the model #. The seller said it was an 89 but that is all I have for info. I would like to buy a service manual for the motor and a stainless prop but don't know what model to buy for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Have you checked your engine block "welch plugs" for a serial number? Here's an example or two for you.
