We redid our bath, All walls, trim and ceiling... 3 different colors. Costed less then 20 bucks with all premium paints.
We shopped the mis-tints. You'd be suprised, but you can find some nice colors that are actually mis tinted.

I personally prefer Sherwin-Williams Paints. For those that are active or retired military, Lowe's and Home Depot do give a 10% Military Discount with valid ID. On the coast, We put a mold/mildew preventative in to help.
