i am new to boating and wondering what the fuel usage will be on a 50 hp force in great running condition on a 16 foot bayliner capri .. i know it all depends on load and weight but i am trying to get a round about idea .. i have 2-6 gallon tanks just wondering how much time that will give me on the water

4+ hours at 2/3 throttle.
2 hours at full throttle.

No, that is for the 12 gallons in the tanks.

You could easily go through 5 gallons per hour at full throttle.
Going 2/3 throttle (3500 rpm) should get it down to 2.5 - 3 gallons per hour.

outboards suck gasoline !!
