Hose connection on vapour separator cap broken

I've broken the hose connection on the vapour separator cap. I'm planering to mount ? new connection but i need to take of the cap before. I have unscrewed the two screws but the cap seames to be glued to the body. Does anyone know if it is just the screwes holding the cap or if it is more things that I will breake if I use more force to remove the top cap?

I have a my2000 150 hp ficht.

I don't think any parts are available for the seperator as it's sold as a unit. Check shop.evinrude.com and look up your mtr in fuel system components.
