I appreciate the info. I would never "tap first, source parts second". I learned that the hard way long ago!

If you can get 3/16" NPT stuff, fine, but it is not standard...... around here I'd likely have to use 1/4".

Halfway down the page: [almost] any size barb to [almost] any size male NPT...

On a 1/8NPT they offer barbs of 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16" & 3/8"

Personally, I don't think there is any sense going any bigger that what the inside dimension of the nipple has. If the pulse nipple has a 3/16" ID, then I would match that dimension all the way to the bypass cover and that includes the hose.

Whatever works for you...but did you check the shipping charges? :eek:
I'd just end up working with what I could get off the shelf...a $2- part with $8- S&H is not on my shopping list.:)
