I ll be attemping to take a look at the impeller on my 1988 gamefisher 7.5 never done this before iv watched a few videos of other outboards but couldnt find one of my motor. Are they all pretty much the same ?

pretty much the same, Just take pics when you disassemble for reference when re-assembling. Not to hard of a job.
