Gee, I wonder how they got the story THAT wrong!?!? And the media wonders why they have credibility issues? I feel so bad for those people who thought their loved ones were alive just a few hours ago. This is BS.

Fox News reported that the story was started by a foreman who overheard one side of a conversation and without consulting anyone, made a cellphone call to one of the family members inside the church. That man has to have the worst feelings this morning. I pray for him.

I am so tired, I stayed up last night following this story and the football game. Switching between the two. Took me forever to get to sleep once i got to bed.

I cannot blame the media here. Believe me, I'd like to.

The media ran with what was, at the time, credible information.

The outcome is sad, no question.

My heart goes out to those suffering. Peace be with them.

really very very sad indeed for the families of those miners, to have suffered the anguish of not knowing the fate of their loved ones, then to be given news of epic euphoria of their rescue to safety, followed by the excruciating sorrow that followed as the facts became all too transparent that the miners were all dead, save one in critical condition :(
