'tis only a little scratch, though! :D

How in the world did that happen? Did you witness it or find the pics on the web? I am guessing either throttle got stuck, or severe driver error.

Glad it's not my boat!

Tornado?
Hurricane?
Flood?
Tsunami?
Overpropped?
Forgot to extend flaps on final approach?
Really, really big, angry viking?
Driver took a wrong turn on the way to the boat ramp?
No no, I've got it now - it must have been...
Gravity!

either throttle got stuck, or severe driver error.
I had a friend email me these photos, and the story that accompanied the photos was along the following lines:

Guy had recently bought the boat and had limited experience. Attempted a sharp turn at a high rate of speed. Him and his buddy were both thrown from the boat, and he was not wearing the kill switch lanyard   The photos do a good job of showing the result.

Yeah - just came across the pics on Stingray users' webpages on Stingrays server.

No matter the story, it's scary pictures! Somehow it's amazing the boat it stil [relatively] in one piece.

Was a nice boat but no more! Hope they have got insurance for that boat.

The boat must be travelling at very high speed, if you look at the picture closer the pine tree almost split it in half. And that takes a lot of power to do that.

I guess that guy won't be looking for a big discount when his insurance renews.

Doesn't a scratch, regarless of length, depth, or width justify the replacement of said vessel? Answer this correctly, wifey like to check up on me. It starts with a Y

Starts with a 'Y' ?
Can't think of the word you're looking for.

How about:
Yesterday (but not today)
Yah - an expression of defiance
Yammer - an expression of lament
Yarn - a likely tale
Yawn - 'I've heard that one before'
Yearn - Love to, but can't
Yen - a longing or desire
Yield - 'I wear the trousers'
Yodel - crying in the wind
Yonks - a long long time
Yowl - a loud wailing cry
Yardbird - a prisoner

and others not printable here.
