Hi.
Model BFP60A, Serial BBFJ 8101682.
I have no tilt, neither up nor down. I have looked at the relay pack. They are clicking. Voltage coming in is good. Voltage out on blue and green wires follows tilt switch actuation. Relays look functional.
So, I believe my problem is either with the pump motor or a bad ground to the pump motor. I do have a hard time believing a Honda pump motor quit..... so ...
How can I test the pump motor connections?
When you remove the cable tie down to the pump motor and peek underneath, it looks like the blue and green enter the motor on some kind of tiny connector that is held in place with a tiny phillips screw. Can I pull this screw and have access to the motor's contacts?
Thanks,
J

That tilt motor uses those 2 wires for both hot and ground. The relay just switches polarity for the direction you need the pump to move.

There's a chance that even though you measure voltage at the 2 wires, they can't carry enough amperage to operate the motor. Maybe try measuring for voltage with the tilt motor hooked up, so there's a load on the wires when you push the tilt switch?

I would NOT remove that screw thinking there's a connection that can be cleaned there.

Worth a try maybe, is giving the motor a couple of light smacks with a small hammer while it has power on it. This works best with the manual relief valve opened up and the motor tilted all the way up for easy access. Open relief valve assures the motor will stay put while you run the tilt motor for a few seconds if it starts going. Thought is the brushes are dirty/corroded in the brush holders. The jar from a couple of light taps often breaks them loose.
