Hi- new to forum- have a 2006 Honda 90 outboard- the "pee" hole streams fine, but there is a flush value above the "pee" hole that seems to be stuck open. After flushing when we remove the valve, water streams out of the hose connector. How to fix this issue, please? We run the boat in salt water
Thanks for your help!!!!

There's a small spring loaded plastic check valve that allows hose water in to rinse, then closes when the hose is disconnected to prevent cooling water from escaping. As you've guessed, that's likely sticking and it will probably require taking apart to clean.

Because of that kind of potential, many will just run the engine on muffs to rinse, eliminating the potential for that valve to stick.
