HONDA BF8 upgrade

I have a BF 8 mfg year 2005 and I want to upgrade it to BF 10 as this is same engine. What do I have to do? Parts to change?

Quickest and cheapest way is to trade it for a 9.9.

Remember that a 350 Chebby small block can be anywhere from 165hp to 500hp. Does that make them the same engine?

You are only looking at the displacement. There are other parts that make the extra horsepower. Its cheap for the factory to make both engines but you may find that the retail cost of those conversion pieces makes the switch cost prohibitive. Besides, you are unlikely to notice the difference.
