Honda BF15A stops pumping at hi RPM

The '97 4 stroke motor is very clean and I've never seen this. It pumps great at idle and low RPM but stops completely in the high end. All water pumping items were new over winter- impeller, housing, plate, thermostat, gaskets ... Up until yesterday water shot VERY strong at hi rpms. Ran a wire up the chute but didn't help.
As soon as you cut back on throttle water appears fairly strong again.
I'll appreciate any ideas on this at all.
Thanks.

Could be a bit of debris in the cooling system that jams into place at higher water system pressures. You could try using compressed air to blow it back out, but you would likely have to drop the LU to get the pump out of the way to eject the debris -- otherwise it may stay "captured" in the cooling system.

Thanks. That is one of the few "theories" that could account for it acting this way. Will do this evening.
