In case others search for valve clearance information, the top rocker arm is EX on cylinder one, the bottom is EX on cylinder two, cylinder one being one top. To adjust, per the manual (clymer).

1. removed battery cable
2. remove spark plugs
3. remove pull starter - you don't have to disconnect, just hang off the side
4. with motor in N, plug cyl. 1 with your finger, then rotate flywheel until you feel pressure. Continue until T marks line up.
5. Adjust valves for IN and EX to specs. IN=.12mm +-.02, EX=.20mm+-.02.
6. rotate flywheel one turn, 360, again aligning t mark and adjust cyl. 2.

I hope that helps some others in the future, this site has been invaluable as a resource. I have the manual now, if you have a specific question don't hesitate to ask.
