My outboard is due for carb overhauls again after about 1K hours since last one. I need a dealer or parts supply contact that is customer friendly. The last time I did it,my local dealer tried to tell me that I could not rebuild the carbs my self and further told me that they dont do it ether. The dealer said they replace the carbs instead. The cost of replacement at that time was 600 dollars for 4 carbs. I bought all the parts necesary to do the job anyway. Needless to say I did the carb rebuild and now a thousand hours later it's time to do it again.
Does anyone know of a parts house that is willing to work with a DIY customer, preferable one that can accept paypal and ship parts to me.
Thanks in advance.

Why are you rebuilding the carbs at 1000hrs? Are you having a running issue??

Actually I have close to 1900HRS on the engine and it does not run as smoothly as it did after the last rebuild. One of the cylinders is running lean. I use the boat alot on the Sea of Cortez and the fuel down south leaves much to be desired.
