(Put this post in the wrong section so moved it to here)

~~Have not had a holiday in just under 7 years, so next week me and the wife are off for a week, to Singapore.
We decided we didn't want a 3rd world country, nor sand and surf and lying by a pool - got all that right here.

Anyone been there lately?
I lived there back in the early 70's but everything would have changed.
Cheers

Ha! No world travelers here, I guess.
Just you and me by the looks of things.
Head out tonight.
Been a long time since I have been in the big birds.
Think to nights is a 777, and back is either a 380 or 747. (I don't like the idea of the 380 - to many people).
Cheers

I travel for a living. Most of it through Singapore.... What do you want to know? Yeah, agree with you about the 380. Wife and I flow Singapore to Frankfurt at the beginning of the year, packed, not a seat spare (and a 12 hour flight!)....

Singapore... You must visit the bird park at Jurong and have a satay meal at Las Pasat....

Chris....

OK - I'll try those 2 places Chris.
We lift off in about 30 mins so will let you know how we go.
We are on Emerates and the service so far has been exceptional - like a holiday in itself.
Cheers
Phillip
