hoisting a 85 115hp merc

I got this merc I want to lift out of my truck and onto a stand . I don't see a hook like on a Johnson. whats the best place to hoist it from seems like the framing around the power head feels weak to carry the load

Proper way to lift these engines is by a lifting eye that screws into the center of the flywheel. Your dealer should carry them or you can buy them on line.

thanks Moody very helpful will go get one. I ended up using 2 hooks into the steering tube, did not like it but it worked and no Damage,
