A very interesting synopsis of a string of letters that Hillary had written in her college years. A synopsis that clearly shows the emergence of the Hillary that we know today. The Hillary that some misguidedly love and the the Hillary, that hopefully many, fear and distrust.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20033163/

Amongst all else this article reveals the self expressed key to why she borders on socialism. She describes herself, in one of the letters, as a misanthrope then muses whether one can be misanthroipic and still love mankind.

mis?an?thrope (mĭs'ən-thrōp', mĭz'-) Pronunciation Key
n. One who hates or mistrusts humankind.

Hence the danger in Ms Clinton. It's not as if one really needed to to read her letters to understand this part of her personality. It has been openly displayed throughout her public career for all of those who care to observe.

Yeah, and Jimmy Carter secretly lusted for other women, Bill Clinton was a known womanizer, and Gee Willikers was an alcoholic druggie National Guard dropout. What's your point?

The girl must have been in her late teens and early twenties.
Sorry, you try to draw conclusions from what an 18 year old girl wrote forty years ago,in order to show what she is today.
Not only do you completely fail to impress me, you also seem desperate in your search for dirt.

I may be wrong, but haven't you brought up President Bush's National Guard stint as making him a war dodger. Isn't this the same thing with the shoe on the other foot?

Rolmops is right, Former President Bush was only a war hero and pilot by the time he was 20. But what a fool, he forgot to bring his little movie camera to capture the moment like other war hero's. Think of all the re-enactments he could have orchestrated. Or he could have been hangin out in a commune contempleting the exestential meaning of nothingness.

Don't throw facts on this Plainsman, it won't help. Bush---Bad.

If perceived personal imperfections disqualified Presidential hopefuls, Dubya couldn't win Dog Catcher.

If my memory serves me well, you are mixing up the father and the son.
Old George was indeed a war hero fighter pilot before he was 20.

Would you agree with me that there is a difference between private correspondence and being drafted into military service that is strangely interrupted?

You seemed to imply something else, thereby setting a double trap. And yes I did fall into your trap.
The father is a very different person and I have great respect for him.

Trap? No trap...

As for the difference, one is a documentable fact penned in her own hand, the other is political inuendo.

Not what you said. You said that we can't use a persons far past to judge them as they are today. That is the point. Good try on changing the point though.

Do you deny my previous post?

I guess what rolmops means that if Hillary changed her political affiliation from conservative to liberal, at that early age, we should deny that she is still a liberal today. Great logic rolmops. Seems to be the kind that drives people of your political persuasion.

I know we can count at least one traitor that will be voting for her as communist dictator in training.

Didn't get in enough trollin' in Alaska Boom?......:p
I think shirking your duty to your country at 25-26far far outweighs writing some stuff in your diary at age 19-20, with regard to character over the long haul......;)

Dear diary-
today I realized I am a socialist traitor and I hate my country. How do I "come out" and tell my friends on iboats? I also support baby murdering, mandatory gay marriage, and welfare cheese. What's a girl to do?

Re: Hillary: From the horse's own mouth!

Commie Hillary in 2004 said:
"the tax cuts may have helped you. We're saying that for America to get back on track, we're probably going to cut that short and not give it to you. We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
Commie Hillary in 2007 said:
"The other day the oil companies recorded the highest profits in the history of the world. I want to take those profits. And I want to put them into a strategic energy fund that will begin to fund alternative smart energy, alternatives and technologies that will actually begin to move us in the direction of independence."
You don't need to go back to her youth to know she is a socialist. Here are a couple of recent ones. If comments like this aren't enough to scare the hell out of you, then you need to have your head examined.
