I agree. That’s what led me to believe the motor height is wrong and I need to drop it a notch. There are so many variables though, where do you start? Weight distribution is a factor as well, right?
Drop the motor down and make sure the prop AV plate is just above the bottom of the keel

Prop style also plays into it

Hull appears to be fine. Local boat shop recommended a 15.6 X 13 3 blade Turning Point. So I tried it Sunday. Boat hopped up on plane and had plenty of throttle left. So now I just need to get back up to the higher lake and see what happens.
