Launched the boat today for the first time this year, water temp in the 40's.
Ran good revs out at 5800 5900
yamaha 2003 f225 txrb
ran 12 gallons of gas with ring free as per the "shock treatment" from a remote tank.
I checked the oil and it was way overfull, smelled like gas too.
t-stats were done 2 years ago.
does the oil become diluted due to the ring free shock treatment?
Could it be the 45 degree water or faulty t-stats?
going to change the oil before I use it this week but want to find the cause of this symptom.
