Hi guys , I have 120hp johnson 1986, the 19 pitch sst propeller gone due to bush problem so I change it with 21 pitch , is that make any problem in the future ??? Thanx
How heavy is the boat ?
what size diameter was the old 19 pitch prop ?
what revs did you get ?
what top speed was the old prop ?
and why not get it re-bushed anyway and keep it as spare prop ?
Hi, I can't remember how mutch rpm I use to have , so what u guys saying is when I go higher in pitch the speed will reduce??? And is that a bad thing, I only use it for fishing,
Phill my old propeller was 13?19 , and I dont know what u mean by revs , the boat is stejcraft runabout early 80's , and I think its about 500 to 600 kilo

no your speed.......may increase.....but the rpms will fall........most people set their motor up to run in the proper RPM range at WIDE OPEN THROTTLE.....this is important to the long healthy life of the motor!
