Hi Force Tilt/Trim Pump Help Needed

Hi i'm new to the forum. My oldest brother recently purchased a '84 16ft Glastron with an outboard Force 125. While running it on water you have to keep triming it so I got on the web and googled it and I ended up here. Someone recommended checking the check valves on the trim/tilt pump which a friend and I did. The one was completely gone and the other in pretty bad condition. But in the process messed up the cartridge (the metal case that houses the check valve). I've checked around and they seem pretty hard to come by. Do I need to get a whole new pump if so where or does someone on here have a spare that I could buy???

Welcome to iboats.

You can look for one on ebay, but they are very expensive, and usually need repairs.

Best bet is to buy new.

Determine if you have a 2 wire, or a 3 wire motor, and take a look at the photos.

I think he is talking about manual release valve.
The OMC part number is 0172601 (NLA). I don't think Force ever sold them separately.
