He lost my respect years ago when he wanted to be known as Jerry Rivers rather than Heraldo Rivera. Embarassed of his own heritage. Then years later when he thought it was okay to be Hispanic he changed back.<br /><br />That right there should tell you something about his character.

That rates right up there with "Where were you when JFK was shot?" I had some place else to be the night they showed that. But stayed home to watch it. I will never forget! <br />Since then I have never watched/listened to anything he has had to say! When I see his MUG on tv I change the channel. <br />Didn't know about the "Jerry Rivers" thing but that doesn't surprize me at all.<br /><br />No wonder we haven't been invited to join the rest of the universe if thats what they see of the human race!
