The trust angle grinder works a treat. I had the same prob. Be careful when grinding through the hub rubber and when nearing the shaft splnes. A hard earned thirst...

G'day all<br /><br />Sorry for not getting back to you over the weekend.<br /><br />In answer to all your questions I'm sorry to say I have given up and the local boat repair shop will be cutting the bloody thing off on Thursday and replacing it with a new one.<br /><br />Thank's to you all for your help.<br /> needadrink

what a good reminder,just going out to the shed to remove the prop back of my little putt and put some antiseize on.Have a great summer with the new prop.

Just an update on the prop.<br /><br />I got the prop cut off and a new one put on by the professionals. I also had a full service which was just as well because, he found water in the gear box so he then changed both seal's. <br /><br />It coast me $700AU for parts and labour but it was money well spent. <br /><br />Once again I would like to thank you for all the frindly advice and encouragement given.<br /><br />Safe boating to you all.<br /><br />needadrink.
