What are the two small tubes called that come out of the transom plate on a SP-C outdrive. They seem to be exhaust and are about an inch in diameter with 90 degree turns out opposite directions.
Assuming you are talking about the same thing I am, the idle relief ports are cast into the transom shield. They are not something you replace. It's normal for them to have water and exhaust in. Click on picture.
Found them, another poster had a similar question, turns out to find them you have to look under the engine section, (not drive section) to find these hoses.

What could happen is a leak between the exhaust Y (or tube depending on what engine you have) and the transom shield. Which would leak down onto the cutout area of the transom shield.
