Help with model year

Can't find a reference guide to determine my Tohatsu model year, hope you can help!!

First, year of manufacture is irrelevant for servicing Tohatsu outboards. Model/serial is everything. There are parts catalogs for your model dated 1992 through 1996, so it's likely in there somewhere. If you have a nostalgic curiosity about the year of manufacture, call Tohatsu America at 469-771-3740.

Thanks for the reply. I understand that the model is what is needed to get parts but the outboard is on a KeyWest 1720 that we will be putting on the market soon. It will help to know the model year when a potential buyer asks.
