HELP with lower unit- 1988 85hp

Will a lower unit off of any other horsepower motors work on a 1988 85 hp force motor??

I can't vouch for differing gear ratios, but they use basically the same gearcases from 85 to 150Hp models. Different gear ratios can usually be compensated with a different pitch prop if necessary.
