Help with 40hp 1982 mercury trigger assembly

Hello,
I have a 1982 40 hp mercury outboard sn 5993630. When I search mercury for the trigger assembly it looks different from mine.

It says the part number is 70426a3 but in the part diagram the linkage rod is longer and connected to a different place than mine appears to be. Am I missing something?
I'm attaching my trigger, the part break down and the image of the part according to the number in the parts catalog.

Also, what would be the best tool to pull the flywheel? I see several different types in my searches.

Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, American serial number. Using mercury marine to get part numbers.

You might be better off buying a used trigger on ebay. One that exactly matches what you have.
