Hi Guys, yeah I've picked up an 86lb electric motor too, they recommend a 24v, 48A battery - however, I've got a 70A 12v marine deep cycle battery.
The motor has 5 speeds and the top speed uses 1152w, however, the next speed down is 523w.
They also sell another model which only goes up to 624w and they recommend a 12v 52A.
Therefore I was thinking as long as I stick to the second highest speed or below on my motor I should be ok with the 70A battery?
What do you think? Also how many hours would i get out of it at 624w?
