I was messing with the tilt/trim motor, changing the fluid, took plug out and three little pieces came out, not quite sure how they go back in ??<br />It is a 1988 Nissan 70HP, not sure who makes the t/t unit; it is a long, cylindrical motor, bolted on to a square silve piece at the bottom; the drain plug is on this silver piece, and this is where the fluid tubes go to the lift mechanism. I took out the drain plug in this silver piece, and that is where the mystery pieces came from. there are two identical pieces, that look like a washer, and a round solid metal piece that is the same size ???? any ideas ? Also, when completely changing fluid, is there a trick to getting it to work again ?? do you have to lift the motor up/down a few times to get fluid through the system ?? Please help, going on a long awaited fishing trip this weekend ?!?!?
