Hi, this is my first post and i haven't found much information on my boat. I usually like to read up before i post, but i haven't found much relevant information on my boat and engine combo.

I have a 1992 Ultranautics Jetstar
It has a 90 HP Force engine from that year.
I only know of a couple in existence and haven't talked to anyone that has had one.

this boat is a mess, but the engine runs and i want to take it out to go through it and get it in tip top condition and also go through the pump.

I have all 8 mounting stud bolts off and it wont budge, is there any tips or a release button that needs to be pressed.

Re: Help Pulling 1992 90hp Force out of Jetstar

Well, Dave: I am not familiar with your exact application, BUT depending upon the match plate used there are more than 8 studs or bolts. For example: The engine block itself always has 10 studs or bolt holes in it. When attached to the outboard match plate in earlier engines there are six studs nutted to the midleg and six bolts through the match plate into the midleg. Look for at least two more studs or bolts that you have not noticed, possibly under the very front of the block below the carbs.

The studs do tend to corrode in place into the mount; there may be a gasket which is factory glued, the stub drive shaft may be stuck, thus, even with all bolts and nuts removed it does take a good bit of prying to get the block up.

BTW: Nice little boat. Swap in a Force 5 cylinder 150, change the impeller, and she will probably move quite briskly.

I have found out that the power-head has to be removed first before the mounting plate and the pump.

I have this same boat love it. Pictures are identical to mine. I'm having problems finding a new/good used flywheel after shelling out the stator magnets first time out this year. If you find out info on parts PLEASE post it for me and others.
