Help please, engine isn't pumping water through

I'm posting this for my dad, so bear with me as I have an extremely rudimentary amount of knowledge on engines.. I'll do my best to clarify

We bought the boat, it has a 125 force merc on it. It cranked and runs fine as far as I can tell but even after replacing the water pump it is still not circulating water through the engine.

I don't know what to do

Checked your lines for a clogged tube. If a outlet is clogged it will happen as well. Take a small diameter wire and poke the pisser. Make sure not to run the motor till you found the issue.

do I need to pull it apart in order to do that? From the external ( since it's put back toegther now ) I haven't been able to see anything clogged or rather haven't "felt" anything clogged

Use a piece of weed wacker string and put it in the pee hole.mno net to disassemble.
