I will be getting the manuals soon. I honestly felt the same way. Was expecting to find dirt or varnish in the carbs. I found nothing and they were as clean as a whistle. All the passages and jets were clear. I soaked in berryman dip for a couple of days. Only thing I didn't do was remove the welsh plug on top
