Help! Overheating 3.0, not impeller or circulation pump

OK now I understand :) My boat is 89'and engine MIGHT be 94', I don't have anything but ~1" hose going to manifold from th.housing
Anyway, I am still scratching my head, Why the f doesn't Searay 160 have overheat alarm????

Could be it does but it might be damaged or disconnected. Found many that disconnected because they didn't want to hear when trying to start. It's behind the helm

could be disconnected or non working at this point, or may not be installed. best to watch gauges frequently.

When you did the impeller did u use a OEM part of aftermarket? There is some real junk being sold out there by some folks. Imellers are a good place to stick with oem

Older ones don't (listed in the manual as an option). My '86 didn't, the '89 parts boat I got didn't either.

OK guys very interesting. Impeller was spinning on the shaft. That explains why SOMETIMES it poured some water, and why it took time to diagnose, because first 2 times I checked raw water hose, it DID have water flow in it :D :D crazy.
Impeller was Recmar. I don't know why it decided to start spinning on the shaft. So now I know that new impeller can also start spinning any time

Also I researched a bit and created visual alarm of 5 red leds :) Will take a pic if anyone's interested

It's about the size of a quarter and 3/4 inch thick behind the helm
