help on parts for johnson 1969 engine

I have a friend who requires a spare gear switch<br />for 100hp 1969 johnson speedboat engine. The part number I have been given is 383620. Does anyone<br />know where I can purchase this part and how much<br />it would cost to replace.

Welcome!<br /><br />Its great you have the part number. Try Stan at Shoal Marine -- 941-639-3012. He has a ton of new old parts. hes a bit gruff but a real softy underneith. <br /><br />Good luck!
