I just purchased a 2005 Pollar 2110 Bay w/ Yamaha F150
I want to know how I take my jets off and how I clean them out. If i can't clean them at home where do I send them?
once I clean the jets I don't want to blow crap right back in so what do I need to do to prevent an issue?
I am gonareplace the old squeeze ball and install a new 10 micron fuel seperator w/ glass bowl to drain the crap out.
Can anyone recommend a good brand and where to buy? Sierra? Raycore?
Is there any thing I should change in the motor area?
I use startron every time I add fuel to the tank.
I can hold 70 gal but I only hold 40 or 50 on long trips as I can really notice the added weight.
Any other recommendations?

Re: help me get my fuel system in order.

You obviously don't know much about outboards as you don't even know that your engine is fuel injected and has no "jets" Don't fool around with this because these are very sophisticated engines and if you dive headlong into trying to fix it and break something it will cost you a fortune to get it properly fixed. You are right about good filters, add them or have them added, check each time you go out if there is water in the gas, change filters on a REGULAR basis, have your impeller changed at proper intervals. GET A YAMAHA MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE AND FOLLOW IT and you will be a happy man - Bob
