Help me find what brand is this boat???

Allô! I am french and from Québec, so excuse my bad english! I bought this 22 feet fiberglass boat here in Montréal, but there is no manufacturer's name or specifications plate on it! It was in Florida before. Is there somebody here who would know the brand and/or model, or the year?? It would help me to register it here, and, this way, I could know how many HP I could put on it!!<br />Thank you to those who will answer !<br />E.D.

Since the boat was in Florida before, there is probably a hull ID on the stern and somewhere in the boat too.<br /><br />If you have that ID (probably 12 characters) then give us the first 3 characters. If you have it, that will identify the boat manufacturer.<br /><br />- bayman

Bonjour, Ephram, you should check with your local coast guard office. There are new regulations here in Canada that require you to apply for a registration plate for your boat. You do not really need to know the manufacturer, If it is an older boat or the manufacturer is out of business you will have to fill out forms( good old Can gov) If you have the Hull Identification Number ( it should be on the stern of the boat, right hand side, you can check for manufacturers name.<br />I could not see your pictures either. It has been a standard to post Hull Identification Numbers only since 1972. Chances are that that hull is older than 1972 and it may not have a hull number.<br /><br />Bob

Thank you for your answers!<br />Effectively, it seems to be around 68-70...and I know I have a lot of work to do on it !! I began by sanding and painting, and I am beginning a cabin...<br />But anyway the most important to me is to find the brand, and then maybe find pictures of some identic boats, and know what were the original colors !!<br />Thanks to whom can tell me that brand/model ! !

It's hard to tell from the pics...but I'd guess:<br />Orlando Clipper (Florida), SeaBreeze (Florida) or MFG (not Florida).

It looks like an old MFG to me, but I wouldn't bet the ranch on it.
