Hey! I just gotta free boat!

It's a '90s Beagle or something. With a flat trailer tire.

Anybody know anything about registering a boat in MD without a title?

I would not be concerned about a solid freeze up/ It cant happen at 30% in one night. 300 bucks for a 5 mile trip is the price they ask when they think you are a helpless sucker. Be very careful if you attempt to repair it while parked beside an interstate...

So did Ryan50 ever get his boat home? The suspense is starting to get to me!:confused:

Sorry to keep everyone in suspense. After missing 2 days of work, the fit hit the shan (work) so I've been too busy getting caught up to play on iboats. I did go back and drain the block and manifolds Monday night for peace of mind (although I really think it would have been OK at 32 degrees). The boat was fine yesterday morning, although I did worry about it all night. i could not remove the studs with a punch and 3 pound hammer! No one in town had a complete hub. I finally found a machine shop to press out the old studs. I then caught hell trying to find new studs, but finally found some that are a bit too long but do the trick. Long story short, boat is home and it only costs me about 75 bucks and a few busted knuckles(picked up new studs and lug nuts for the other side as well). Thanks to all for the advice and concerns. The wife did not like the idea of 2 boats in the yard and her comment when I arrived home Monday night without the boat was exactly what I expected, "I believe you left your bed beside the road".

Glad you got it home.
It sounds like our wives may be related. That's the same kind of thing I would have heard if it happened to me.

"I believe you left your bed beside the road".

Too funny - then again, maybe you could take advantage of it. "Honey, I had to upgrade to the express cruiser because the bed was killing my back!"

I start reading a suspense novel and find my blood pressure is rising as I get closer to the climax (of the story). I felt anxious scrolling down for Ryan50's report. I just love a happy ending. . .
