I have an 18' 88 SeaRay Bowrider, currently the port side of my back to back lounge seats are deteriorated. I have purchased 2 new std B/B lounge seats w/o the bases, since my bases are glassed & carpeted to the floor. The mfg of the new seats said I can use the existing hardware to mount the new ones. I need some assistance in the removal of the hardware on the existing seats. Can the old seats be removed from the tracks attached on both sides of the seat base? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am going on vacation next week where my boat is and was hoping to install them while there. Thank you in advance.

Re: Help installing B/B lounge seats

do you have pics?

i dont understand what tracks you are talking about....

b2b loungers, with bases glassed in....are usaually screwed to the base.....

id suggest half opening the loungers so you can see how they are attached inside the base....and duplicate it

Thanks for your response Captain

No I have no pic's....the tracks are attached to the inside of the bases on each side of it so that the seat can be laid flat. There is hardware attached to the seats which go into the tracks & slide. If that makes sense to you.
