Can anybody tell me the size and approximate year of this one?

It looks like a 62 or 63 5 1/2. But the 5 1/2 used a 2 blade prop. The 10hp used a 3 blade, but it had a much different midsection

Must be the 5.5 HP with that exhaust housing.-----No need to be stingy with pictures.----Take the cowling off.---Add pictures.

Sorry, this is just something on the local FB MP I saw. No additional pics. I was mostly curious as to whether or not could use parts from this on my 76 rude 9.9. Been looking for a Johnnyrude parts motor all winter. Found one, but sold before I could grab it.

Really ?----There are no parts on there that will fit a 9.9 HP

Boo! That's what I was thinking. The 9.9 has a busted upper thrust bushing and they don't make 'em anymore. Used ones are stupidly expensive.

The gas tank from the 5.5 can be used on a 9.9. Other than that... Even the spark plugs are different. Maybe the drain & fill plugs from the lower unit can be?

Was hoping it was a 9.9. Current owner seems clueless. I don't really want a 5.5. Especially one that looks to be a bit neglected. Offered $75, but doubt if will pursue it.
